Bypass Toolkit in DocConverter PDF to PDF Conversions
DocConverter uses Toolkit during PDF to PDF conversions. Should you need to perform a PDF to PDF conversion where the input PDF is simply copied, you can instruct DocConverter to bypass Toolkit with a simple INI file.
DocConverter's default behavior is to use Toolkit during PDF to PDF conversions, noting "Toolkit" as the Producer in the output PDF.
Should you need to perform a PDF to PDF conversion where the input PDF is simply copied, you can instruct DocConverter to bypass Toolkit with a simple INI file.
- Use Notepad or any other text editor to create a blank text file named Bypass_Toolkit.ini
- If the folder does not already exisit, create a folder named Settings in this location:
Example: C:\Windows\ActivePDF\Settings - Place the Bypass_Toolkit.ini file in the C:\Windows\ActivePDF\Settings folder.
As long as the INI file is present, DocConverter bypasses using Toolkit in conversions.
